Allow us to introduce ourselves… We are The Alberti Twins. John and Tony Alberti aka The Italian Stallions, aka Double Trouble 😉 We are Italian Twins from Manchester, UK. Former Cast Members of Hit Reality TV Show ‘Love Island’ Season 1 on ITV2 in the UK and Twin TV cooks, cooking around the world on TV. Authors of Twintastico Italian Cooking At Home With The Alberti Twins.

Bursting into the spotlight with our appearance on Love Island, we have since created our YouTube Cooking Channel – Italian Cooking At Home With The Alberti Twins.

From Love Island to International success, we regularly appear on TV around the world, cooking our Twintastico Italian family recipes for you all to enjoy.

A little bit about ourselves… Coming from an Italian family we have grown up around food and learnt to cook watching our parents and Nonna from an early age. Learning traditional Italian family recipes passed down through generations and this is where our passion for food was born. Through spending every Summer growing up in Italy, on the farm where our family live, we saw first hand how food went from farm to table. Through making homemade cheeses, bread, pasta and sauces. They would show us how to prepare and cook some of the homemade recipes we share with you today.

The key to Italian food is simplicity. Being Italian, cooking is in our blood, so is romancing the women but that’s another story! It is all about family and food, and the kitchen and dining table are the heart of the family home. For us, family is sacred, a strong family provides mutual love, commitment, and honesty that allows us to grow up true to ourselves and to our fellow human beings. We want you to remember that the kitchen, it’s environment and it’s ritual, is where the whole family is united. The ritual of the table is a family’s strongest bond. It is a way of life for us and every Sunday all the family come round for ‘Spaghetti Sunday’ and a big family gathering… Italians live to eat, not eat to live.

Italian food and cooking should be something that is enjoyable and simple, a recipe shouldn’t be something that when looked upon is difficult to accomplish. Cooking should be fun and done with a smile on your face, which involves the whole family and that passion and love of food and cooking can be passed down to future generations to come. Using seasonal produce and cooking with fresh ingredients, showcasing the best of what Italy has to offer.

Our family come from the Garfagnana region of Tuscany, Italy near Lucca. Italy is beautiful from top to toe, but for us, Tuscany is the most beautiful part. Once you go to Tuscany, you will never want to go anywhere else.

Family Is Everything… The most important thing in life will always be family. We come from a big Italian family. We are very passionate and proud of being Italian and our heritage and being born Twins and Italian is like winning the lottery 😉

To our family, thank you for making us Italian from our hearts to our stomachs.

Our aim is to show you that you can look good and cook good, and that fashion and food go hand in hand. Remember when cooking to have fun, enjoy it and cook with passion and love. We want to show you that you do not have to be a professionally trained chef to cook great food at home for you and your family. Cooking is an act of love, a gift, a way of sharing and should be something that is enjoyed and brings the whole family together. Eat, Drink, Love Italian.

We will be sharing with you our homemade Italian family recipes passed down through generations and as we love to be inventive in the kitchen you will find lots of Italian Twintastico Twists on classic recipes along the way, done Alberti style.
