Pasta Piselli e Pancetta

The classic pasta piselli with pancetta takes this classic to the next level. A quick and simple recipe with only a few ingredients, comfort food at its best.


  • •500g/1lb short pasta
  • 150g/1 cup peas
  • 150g/1/2 cup pancetta
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 litre/4 cups boiled water/veg stock
  • Extra virgin olive oil


Add the pancetta to a sauce pan on medium heat and cook for around 5 minutes until crisp.

Remove the pancetta from the pan and add a drizzle of oil to the pan and add the onions and cook until translucent.

Add the peas and season with salt and pepper.

Add the water to the pan and then add the pasta and mix well.

Simmer and reduce for around 15 minutes.

Season with salt to taste and add the Parmesan.

Add the pancetta to the pan and mix well and serve with extra parmesan.
