These quick and easy savoury swirls are the perfect snack any time of the day! Give them a whirl and you will love them just as much as we do.
- 1 roll puff pastry
- 150g/5 oz sliced provola cheese
- 100g/3.5 oz prosciutto di Parma or prosciutto cotto
- 1 egg yolk
Roll out the puff pastry and add a layer of the cheese on top to cover the whole of the pastry, then add a layer of prosciutto. Roll up the pastry width ways into a log.
Place in the fridge for 15 minutes to firm up. Then slice one inch thick slices and lay flat on a baking tray.
Brush with the egg and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 200C/390F until golden.
