Sexy Spirali Pasta with Pancetta and Peas
This is such a fresh simple, colourful, Summery dish to make and the whole family with love it. It’s sexy, tasty and the perfect summer dish.
- 500g Spirali Pasta
- 150g Cubed Pancetta
- 125g Frozen Peas
- Parmesan, freshly grated
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 30g Butter
Bring a pan of salted water to the boil and add in the pasta and cook until al dente. To a preheated, deep skillet pan, add the extra virgin olive oil and pancetta and fry until crisp.
Once the pancetta is cooked, add the peas and season with salt and pepper. Cook for a further 5 minutes.
Once the pasta is ready, drain the pasta but keep a cup of the pasta water and add the pasta and pasta water to the pan with the pancetta and peas. Add the butter and mix well. Serve with a generous sprinkle of parmesan to finish.
